Colgate University's waitlist acceptance rate for the application year 2023 stands at 2.44%, with 71 out of 2,905 waitlisted applicants gaining admission. This rate is consistent with the previous year, which also recorded a similar acceptance rate. However, there was no admission from the waitlist for the years 2021 and 2022, where 3,099 and 3,663 students were offered a place, respectively. In contrast, the acceptance rate was much higher at 5.95% for the application year 2020, with 97 students accepted from a smaller pool of 1,630.
